I have been honing and seeking my voice as an artist since I was a little girl. Being an artist is who I am to my core. I was born and raised in a small mountain valley town in Western North Carolina. Growing up, my mother recognized my passion for creating. I spent countless hours drawing and painting watercolors throughout my youth. I now create art using bold acrylic colors, creating abstract works that represent my molecular biology and mechanisms.

I currently reside in Greensboro and have been here since 2012 with my husband and a menagerie of pets. I’ve been pursuing my career professionally since receiving my BFA from Appalachian State University in 2011.
